Change text size, font, color, spacing, and more by using the options on the editor toolbar. You can also do this to existing text on templates.
For more formatting options like curving text, and adding effects like text backgrounds and shadows, select Effects from the editor toolbar. Learn more about adding text effects. Using gradients on text isn’t supported yet.
Click to select the text box that you want to edit, and use the text toolbar that appears above the editor to format your text.
Changing fonts
Click on the font dropdown to select or search for fonts. You can also select a font category to easily find what you’re looking for.
Some of them will have weights available. To see all font weights, click the arrow next to it.
Changing font weights
Text can have multiple font weights in a text box.
- Highlight the text you want to have a different font weight.
- Click on the font dropdown.
- Click the arrow next to the font you’re using.
- Select the desired font weight.
Changing text size
Click on the number (font size) to input a new value. You can also use the or buttons to change text size.
Changing text color
Click Text Color, and click to select a new color from the color panel. You can also use gradients. Note that using gradients on text isn’t supported yet.
Emphasizing text
Click Bold, Italics, or Underline to emphasize text.
If they’re grayed out, it means that the font you’re using doesn’t support the formatting option.
Aligning text
Click the Alignment button on the toolbar. It might look like the Center, Left, Right, or Justify icon. Keep clicking until you get your preferred alignment.
Using bullet or numbered lists
To use a bulleted list, click Bullet list.
To use a numbered list instead, click on again.
Text spacing
- Click Text spacing.
- Drag the Letter spacing and Line spacing sliders to your preferred value.
