Here are some things you can do when pages, elements, or images are missing on your downloading design but you can see them in the Canva editor.
Try a different browser
Different browsers can export designs differently. Try a different browser and see if that resolves the issue.
If you’re still having issues after downloading on different browsers, try these:
- Clear accumulated browser history, cookies, and cache, as these can cause trouble sometimes. Note that doing this may get you logged out from other sites.
- Use an Incognito Browser. This disables browser plugins that can cause issues in Canva.
Upgrade to the latest version of the Canva app
For mobile app users, make sure you’re on the latest version of the Canva app. We regularly release updates that improve performance and fix minor bugs.
If you’re on the latest version of the app but still have issues, try these:
- Log out of the app, then log back in.
- Ensure your device has the latest operating system version.
- Restart your device.
Add emojis from the Apps tab
For emojis to be visible on your downloaded design, you need to add them from the Apps tab of the editor.
Check for uploaded media that has been deleted
If you used uploaded media and they’re missing on your downloaded design, check if they’ve been deleted. For media you uploaded, check Trash and recover them if still possible. You can also reupload the media files if you still have them in your device.
For media that others uploaded, please reach out to the person who uploaded them and ask if they can still recover or reupload the files.
