If your scheduled post didn’t publish, we’ll email you why it failed and how it can be fixed.
If the email doesn’t include the reason and the steps to fix it, here are some possible causes and things that you can do for each:
Expired connection to the social media platform
To fix this, reconnect your social media profile to Canva by rescheduling the failed post:
- From the notification email, click the link to the post that failed to publish.
- From the top corner of the editor, click the ••• button.
- On the search bar, type “schedule,” and click Schedule from the results.
- From the calendar, select the date and time you want to publish the post.
- Click Schedule to…, and select the social media platform that you want to post to.
- When prompted, log in to the social media account that you want to use again to refresh its connection to Canva.
Canva doesn’t have enough permissions
Check if Canva is authorized to post and manage content for you. You can do this from your social media account’s app permission settings.
